What brings you to the internet

Internet For Dummies (interdummies.com) is an initiative designed to help “newbies” understand how the internet works, simplifying complex concepts as much as possible. After all, these days it’s very important to learn about the internet (before it learns about you)

What to expect from this blog?

The target audience is entirely beginners, but if you are experienced and want to remember some concepts, feel free. If you find any errors, access our contact page and send us a form with the information. We will explain through posts how complex issues such as servers, data protection, Wi-Fi, social networks, wired networks and even programming can be understood through basic and simple concepts. There is content that will require a lot of attention from the reader, so consider taking some notes while reading.

CREATOR

Internet For Dummies was created by Eduardo Araujo, an enthusiast and student of technology. His journey began in 2019 right after high school when he started technical education in System Development at the ETEC technical school in the city of Mogi Mirim, Brazil. Eduardo found it hard to understand the more technical content (especially in networking) and developed a peculiar way of learning: he started to understand and draw parallels with the real world with a light touch of humor using a more simplified language (inspired by the Richard Feynman method). He worked as a support and technology analyst at a company specialized in automation and network infrastructure, Certo Solucoes em Tecnologia. Over a year and a half, he learned about structured cabling and its best practices, infrastructure, networking, firewalls (pfSense), and servers (Proxmox and Windows Server), as well as best practices in customer service. This blog was created with the intent to help those who are starting out and find it difficult to understand complex concepts, which makes learning very boring.
